We decided we had so much writing to read and talk about we would begin with everyone’s writing and end by talking about the first part of Martinez’s Counterstory: The Rhetoric and Writing of Critical Race Theory.
We started by individually reading the reflections on the week’s collaborative meetings and collaborative work and leaving feedback and comments. We stopped to talk about these. Then we moved on to individually reading through the Midsemester Writing/Composing on Authorship and leaving feedback and comments. At about 6:25pm we talked about these and agreed that we would continue reading and commenting during the week as part of the coming week’s work.
We were left with only about 15 minutes so Dr. Geller suggested we offer a round of no comment first reflections and thoughts on Counterstory: The Rhetoric and Writing of Critical Race Theory before we left as a way of moving into the book for next week. In preparation for class on October 26th, we might think about what aspects of the book and its argument we didn’t talk about at all when we did this first round of response to Counterstory. See you on the 26th!
